Network Cabling

Emmett Communications Consulting

What We Do

Network cabling is the process of connecting multiple electronic devices on a single IT network. Typically, these data cables are either copper or fiber. Each cable is run from a central communication cabinet to a floor box or wall mount near connected devices and can be installed using a range of configurations.

Network cabling can support a wide range of telecommunication and smart devices, including:

  • Personal computers
  • Laptops
  • Televisions
  • Security cameras
  • Wi-Fi systems
  • Smart devices
  • Solar panels

Whether installed in a home or workplace, these systems can be complex. Professional installation ensures reliability, performance, and long-term scalability.

As technology continues to advance, structured network cabling plays an increasingly important role. Common applications include:

  • Networked computers
  • Smart televisions
  • IP cameras
  • Solar panel monitoring
  • Access control systems
  • Horns, alarms, intercoms, and PA systems
  • Time clocks and satellite antenna installations

Types of Network Cabling

  • Fiber Optic Cabling – high speed, long distance

  • Twisted Pair Cabling – computer and telephone networks

  • Coaxial Cabling – TV, broadband, and data transmission

Each project begins with a site assessment to ensure a solution that meets current needs and supports future growth.
