What We Do

  • Work with a national customer to remove the wiring in existing cubicles in their workspace and reinstall the Telecom / Data as well as the power to the new cubicle spaces.
  • Build multiple wireless bridges, providing line-of-sight data signals from one building to the next for a national customer.
  • Tested existing office space using Wi-Fi mapping to provide additional APs and improve service.
  • Extended the demarc from the MTR of multi-tenant buildings to the customer suite – some copper extensions, others fiber extensions.
  • Converted customers from copper to fiber service.
  • Provided an entrance facility infrastructure, i.e.; underground conduit, power outlets, bonding & grounding, masts for aerial service, etc., for the LEC to bring in fiber cable.
  • Conduct site surveys to identify for our customers the existing services that are on-site and recommend a solution to extend or expand their network to other buildings on their campus.
  • Install POS for multiple retail customers.

Emmett Communications and Consulting, founded in 2010, combines nearly 50 years of telecom and network experience. The team includes an in-house Industrial Engineer, a retired AT&T Engineering Manager, a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), and BICSI members, offering expertise in design, project management, and infrastructure installation. They provide nationwide services with a network of BICSI-trained technicians across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
